Bessie Mae Carter Schmucker 91
Of Pompano Beach Florida died in Holy Cross Hospice Center November 16, 2006 following a stroke. She was born November 18, 1914 to Oscar Littleton Carter and Dora Ann Williams Carter in Lakeland, GA. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was very active in the Pompano Beach Womens Club.
She was preceded in death by her Husband John Ralph Schmucker, her parents, and her brother Frank Littleton Carter.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, several cousins and many friends.
The body lied in state at Music Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service at 4:00 P.M. November 25, 2006. Internment will be at Burnt Church Cemetery, Lakeland, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Nursing Excellence Fund, Holy Cross Hospital, 4725 N. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33308.
