Beth Marie Moore

Beth Marie Moore was born on November 5, 1954, the 8th child of 12 children born to the late Lily Ada and James Lowell Lane. On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, Beth went home to be with her Lord.
Beth leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 36 years, Randy Moore of Valdosta, 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law: Amber Nunn of Hahira and Stephanie & Mark Flaugher of Grand Ledge, MI; son, Travis Moore of Valdosta; 5 grandchildren: Zachary Nunn of Hahira, Brittany Donnell, Alexis Donnell, both of Humble, TX, Kayla Flaugher, Skylar Flaugher, both of Grand Ledge, MI; 5 brothers & sisters-in-law: Wayne & Patricia Lane of Hahira, GA, Jimmy and Delores Lane of Ray City, Joe and Ellie Lane of San Antonio, TX, Donnie Lane and Leslie Lane, both of Valdosta; 4 sisters & brothers-in-law: Brenda McGee, Sue and Ed McLean, Myrtle Thompson and Lisa and Bob Mead, all of Valdosta; father-in-law & mother-in-law: Jimmy & Emma Moore, Valdosta; sister-in-law & brother-in-law: Vicky & Alex Stubbs, Valdosta; brother-in-law: Gary Moore, Valdosta; sister-in-law: Gayle Griffin, Valdosta and sister-in-law: Becky Caroll, Beaumont, TX. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Lane and Jesse Lane.
Beth was employed at Levi Strauss for a total of 20 years and the last 8 years as an instructor until they closed in 1999. At the time of her death, she was employed with the Valdosta Country Club where she was the Office Manager and had worked for the past 13 years.
When Beth gave her heart to Jesus, she never stopped serving him. She was a member of Pine Grove Community Baptist Church. Beth loved spending time with her family. She especially loved singing and making music with them (The Lane Sisters and The Lane Family singers). Beth was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Beth leaves many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved their “Aunt Beth”. There are so many things that will be remembered about Beth such as: her disincentive laugh, how she lit up any room, she never met a stranger, she touched so many lives, and was the mother other children deserved to have. She will be forever loved and truly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Pine Grove Community Baptist Church, 4024 Pine Grove Road, Valdosta, GA 31605. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Pine Grove Community Baptist Church.
