Of Lakeland, GA passed away March 29, 2014 at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center. She was born March 13, 1940 in Worth County, GA to the late Jessie and Berta Partain Massey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lakeland. Having a love for children, she worked in the Lanier County School System for many years as a substitute teacher. Her passion was crocheting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Massey and Brother-in-law, Joyce Moore

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday Afternoon, March 31, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
