Of Lakeland passed away Tuesday afternoon January 30, 2007 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born and lived in Lanier County, GA most of her life. She was a faithful supporter and she retired from the W. L. Miller Memorial Library in Lakeland after 10 years of service. She was a member of the Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Clinch County where she taught Sunday school for 40 years and played the piano for 50 plus years. She was preceded in death by her parents Askew and Orie Smith Browning, and her husband Vinson Bradford. Her love for others was always displayed in her smile. Her joy was being a wonderful mother and grandmother being known as “Aunt Mama”.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Daughters, Kathy Smith, Valdosta, GA, Wanda Blanton, Lakeland, GA, Jane Stephens, Valdosta, GA; Sons, Danny Bradford, Lakeland, GA, Tim Bradford, Lakeland, GA, Paul Bradford, Lakeland, GA; Sister, Avy Cook, Nashville, GA, 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday February 2, 2007 in the Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Clinch County with Rev. George O’Berry, Rev. Scott Tomlinson, and Rev. Chad Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Mud Creek Cemetery in Lanier County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
