She is preceded in death by her parents, a spouse, James Ashley Dampier, a son, William Royals, a brother, Irie Courson, and 2 sisters, Lillie Mae Bennett and Ethel Lightsy.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday March 15, 2014 in Mud Creek Cemetery in Lanier County, GA. There will be no formal visitation. Family will receive friends at the service.
