Of Homerville passed away early Wednesday morning, May 25, 2016 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born February 6, 1935 in Lagrange, GA to the late William E. and Minnie Viola Clardy Slaughter. She traveled the country with her late husband, Kenneth E. London, while he served our country in the United States Air Force, their family was fortunate to experience many places to live before she and Ken returned to Homerville to retire. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Donnie London, several sisters and a brother. She was a member of the Homerville United Methodist Church in Homerville.
Survivors include her Sons, Jerry London of Arlington, TN, Eddie London of Portland, TN;
Several Grandchildren; Special Granddaughter, Kaitlyn London, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1:00 until 3:00PM at Music Funeral Services in Lakeland. As per Ms. London's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Cremation will follow the visitation and her sons will have a scattering ceremony later at her favorite lake in Tennessee. Sympathy may be expressed online atwww.musicfuneralservices.com.
