Of Valdosta passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at her residence. She was born on October 4, 1951 in Waycross to Jesse H. Welch of Waycross, GA. and the late Margie Howell Welch. She graduated in 1973 from Brunswick Junior College with an Associates of Science in nursing. Continuing her education, she graduated in 1976 from Medical University of South Carolina in the tenth class Anesthesia program for nurses. She was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Georgia Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She served her country in the United States Airforce, the United States Airforce Reserve and the United States Army Reserve advancing to a Major.
She is survived by, Ray Swicegood, Valdosta, GA; Father, Jesse Welch, Waycross, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Kathy & Charles Crosby, Waycross, GA;Sister-in-law, Janice Welch, Blackshear, GA
