Betty Ann Zeigler

Betty Ann (Brogdon) Zeigler – 75 of Lakeland, GA passed away on Monday April 13, 2020 in The South Georgia Medical Center. Betty was born on June 2, 1944 in Berrien County, GA to the late Lucious and Myrtice (Browning) Brogdon. Betty has lived in Georgia her whole life, working for various companies and organizations throughout her life. Some may remember her as the lunch lady at Echols County High School, others from her time as a factory worker, or from Wal-Mart where she worked until her retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her time with her friends and family. She always had a story to tell, something to share. For those of us that have been fortunate to cross paths with Betty, you know she had a smile for everyone. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Zeigler; daughters, Melinda Kay Zeigler and infant baby girl; brother Junior Brogdon; brother-in-law, Elvin Howling; nephew, Dakota Starling.
Survivors include her: Sons: Danny Zeigler and wife Sandra of Big Rock, IL, Richard Zeigler of Lakeland, GA; Brothers and Sisters: Harry Brogdon of Valdosta, GA, Shirley Howling of Adel, GA, Diane Rogers and husband John of Valdosta, GA, Bobby Brogdon and wife Denise of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Joshua Zeigler of Jacksonville, FL, Emily Zeigler of Big Rock, IL, Destinee Zeigler of Lakeland, GA, Sarah Zeigler of Big Rock, IL; In addition, Betty leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
