Of Nashville passed away early Sunday morning August 15, 2004 in the Berrien County Nursing center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Clinch County and had lived in Lanier County for most of her life. She was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband, Lawton Corbitt, son, W.C. Bill Smith, daughter, Mary Ruth Burkhalter preceded her in death.
