Of Douglas, GA passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 27, 1938 in Lakeland, GA to the late Dewey Alton Lee and Elizabeth Woods Lee. She loved her children and family with a passion. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, western movies and adored baby animals. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by: her husband; Tommy Holmes.
Survivors Include: Son, Ray Holmes of Palm Bay, FL; Son, Johnny Holmes of Palm Bay, FL; Daughter, Ann Holmes of Palm Bay, FL; Daughter, Judy Holmes Hall of Douglas, GA; Son, Thomas Kay Holmes of Nashville, GA; Brother, Ray Lee of Douglas, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Lanora Herbert Strange of Deridder, LA;
Brother & Sister-in-law, Larue Margie Lee of Clyattville, GA; 11 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.
As per her wishes she will be cremated and a graveside service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00A.M. in Empire Church Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the Holmes Family.
