Beverly "Doodle" Moore

Beverly "Doodle" Moore – 73 Of Naylor, GA passed away November 19, 2016 at the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Atlanta, GA on June 10, 1943 to the late Jim and Juanita Tomlinson. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She retired from Cracking Good after more than 28 years. She also worked in the Lanier County High School Cafeteria until ill health forced her retirement. She was preceded in death by her son, Nickey J. Moore and grandson, Alex Moore.

Survivors Include: Husband of 55 years, Quinn Moore, Naylor, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Angie & John Owens, Lakeland; Son, Sidney Moore, Lakeland; 4 grandchildren: Amber Moore, Hannah DeCosta, Michael Moore and Lyndon Owens; 1 great grandson: Easton Alexander; 2 sister: Sheila Giddens, Doerun, GA, Debbie Cruz, Leesburg, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in the Good Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Moore will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services. The family will receive friends Monday evening, November 21, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
