Bill Jackson

Of Lakeland, passed away Saturday morning, January 3, 2009, in the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta after a brief illness. He was born November 14, 1936 to the late Joe and Katie May Jackson. He worked in construction most of his life and most recently worked as a supervisor for Barlovento, L.L.C. For 14 years he served his country in the United States Army and was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee Jackson.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00P.M. Monday, January 5, 2009, in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Lovejoy Cemetery in Lanier County. The family will receive friends from 6:00P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
