Of Statenville, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on January 11, 1948 in Valdosta, GA to the late E.L. Corbett and Ruby (Peterson) Corbett. Billy worked with Roadway Express as a Certified Welder. He was very talented in many things but welding was his trade. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: Wife of 18 years, Jo Ann Corbett of Statenville, GA; 2 Step Sons, Chris Tanner and wife, Audrey of Macon, GA, Steven Tanner (Julie) of Macon, GA; Grandchildren: Lily, Kendra and Madison; 6 Sisters and 2 Brothers, Barbara Robuck and husband, James of Toccoa, GA, Linda Hambrick and husband, Tommy of Howell, GA, Jim Corbett and wife, Sherry of Naylor, GA; Jerry Allen and husband, Ted of Lake Park, GA; Emily Chadwick and husband, Everette of Lake Park, GA, Debbie McGally and husband, Jimmy of Lake Park, GA, Leslie V. Corbett and wife, Mary of Lake Park, GA, Judy Bennett and husband, Tony of Lake Park, GA; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
