Billy J. Leggett -79 Of Lakeland, GA passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 in SGMC Lakeland Villas after a lengthy illness. He was born October 24, 1935 to the late W.J. and Daisy Brogdon Leggett in Lakeland, GA. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a son Kenneth Wayne Leggett, three brothers; Arcey Leggett, Jack M. Leggett and T. J. Leggett.
Survivors include: Daughter, Sylvia Roberts of Naylor, GA; Grandchildren; Kaleb and Bridget Tomlinson of Stockton, GA; Cain and Jamie Roberts of Lake Park, GA; Great Grandchildren: Trip Tomlinson, Branson Roberts, James Denver Roberts; Brother, Chester Leggett of Lakeland, GA; Brother, Howard Leggett of Lakeland, GA; Brother, Vernon Dorminey of Valdosta, GA; Brother, Calvin Dorminey of Valdosta, GA; Wife, Geraldine Leggett of Lakeland, GA; Nephew, Russell Dorminey of Valdosta, GA; Special Friend, Carolyn Thomas of Lakeland, GA.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at the funeral home.
