Billy Dale Naylor, Sr., age 73, of Dasher, Georgia, passed away, Friday, November 11, 2022 at South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, Georgia. Bill was born August 4, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to the late Mary Leona McMullen Naylor and Carl Thomas Naylor. He and his family moved to Dasher, Georgia in 1960. He graduated from Georgia Christian School, Alabama Christian College, and Harding College. Bill was a wonderful Christian man who when given the opportunity would preach part-time for the Madison, Welcome Hill and Hahira Churches of Christ and was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ. Bill enjoyed walking and was an avid Ohio State fan. He also enjoyed working in his yards and was very involved in Latin American Missions.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years Lydia Lavender Naylor of Dasher, Georgia; sons and daughters-in-law: Billy Naylor, Jr. and wife Jenna of Jacksonville, Florida, David Naylor and wife Dunia of Birmingham, Alabama, Carl Naylor and Daniel Naylor both of Dasher, Georgia, a daughter, Maria Ancheta of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren: Dale Naylor, Addeline Naylor, Matthew Naylor and Bennett Naylor; two brothers, John Naylor and wife Faye of Readyville, Tennessee, Jim Naylor and wife Sandy of Pike Road, Alabama; a sister, Carol Copeland and husband Jubie of Dasher, Georgia.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 o’clock pm, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Forrest Park Church of Christ. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. Interment will be private. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
