Passed away Friday, February 12, 2016, at his residence. He was born on April 21, 1941, in Columbus, OH. He and his loving wife, Nola, were entrepreneurs for many years in Naples, FL before relocating to Valdosta, GA in 2006. He enjoyed traveling, volunteering and most of all, camaraderie with family and friends. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nola Johnson, and daughters Sharon, Allison, Lisa and Justine.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 20, 2016, in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salvation Army of Valdosta. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . Music Funeral Services of Valdosta is serving the family.
