Bobbie Kate Westberry

Bobbie Kate Westberry – 85 of Sparks, formally of Stockton passed away Monday, October 08, 2018 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born on June 2, 1933 in Jesup, GA to the late T.J. & Maggie (Peavy) Johnson, Sr. She graduated from Lanier County High School in 1950. Ms. Bobbie Kate was a member of Stockton Baptist Church most of her life and recently joined Sparks Baptist Church when she moved to Sparks. She worked with Clinch Memorial Hospital for many years as a CNA and also as a substitute teacher in several counties throughout South GA. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Johnnie L. Westberry, daughter, Jane Stephens, son, John Robert Westberry, Sr., granddaughter, Stacie Lindley, son-in-laws, Rod Lindley, Carter Meeler, Robert Stephens & Bobby Harrell and brother, Timothy Johnson, Jr.
Survivors Include: Daughters & Sons-in-law: Eleanor Lindley, Conroe, TX, Linda Kate & David Vickers, Sparks, GA, Mary Beth & Doug Farmer, Naylor, GA; Daughter-in-law: Terri Westberry, Quitman, GA; 12 Grandchildren: Tim Lindley, Wesley Harrell (Jennifer), Allison Myers, Diane Harrell, Amy Wodicka (Braden), Matthew Farmer, John Robert Westberry, Jr. (Brittaney), Sarah Lindley, Robert Lindley, Shanna Tillman, Donna Brogdon & Jonathan Westberry; 30 Great Grandchildren; Extended Family: Pat Varnadore & Cathy Shepard and a number of nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Stockton Baptist Church Cemetery.
