Bobby D. Bradford – 74
Of Lakeland and Valdosta, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 5, 1937 to the late Arthur Quillian and Essie Lou Jones Bradford. He owned and operated Bobby's Citgo in Lakeland, Georgia for 35 years. His happiest times were with his family; especially his beloved grandchildren. He loved his customers who became immediate friends. Friends would gather on the wooden benches at his service station were they would tell their stories, share laughter and catch up on the local news. Two of his favorite pastimes were fishing and NASCAR.He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leon Bradford, Thurlow Bradford, J.P. Bradford, Edward Bradford, Buddy Bradford and Vinson Bradford, and sisters, Geneva Gilbert, Birdie Carter, Vera Roe, and Lucille Powell, thus ending a generation.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services and burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
