Bobby Roy Cole

Of Lake Park, GA passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the Lake Haven Nursing Home in Valdosta after a lengthy illness. He was born December 5, 1939 in Lanier County to the late Leroy and Ossie Lee Ganas Cole. He was a retired Correctional Officer with the Valdosta State Prison. He is Baptist by faith. He is preceded in death by a sister Betty Cole, two brothers Billy Cole and Benny Cole.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009 in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland with Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m
