Of Collins, GA passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 in Statesboro, GA after a lengthy illness. He was born on May 12, 1944 in Lowndes County to the late C.I. & Alice Cooper. Mr. Cooper served in the United States Navy for 22 years and was of the Church of God faith. He is preceded in death by his sister, Christine Gray, and a brother, Hoover Cooper.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the funeral home.
