Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 3, 1939 to the late Pliny W. and Thelma (Brown) Courson in Lakeland, GA. He was the owner of the Old Butcher Shop. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law, Keith and Sandra Courson of Lakeland, GA, Son and Daughter-in-law, Craig and Carrie Courson of Lakeland, GA, Grandchildren who affectionately called him “Granddaddy” are Kalin Livingston (Chase), Kami Howell (David Winterlin), Tanner Courson (Ami), Cameron Courson, Raylen Courson and Emma Courson. Great Grandson: Chandler Livingston, Brother and Sister-in-law Jimmy and Brenda Courson of Leesburg, GA, Brother and Sister-in-law Ronnie and Deloras Courson of Lakeland, GA, Nieces, Stacy Branch and Kim Seymour and nephews, Chris Courson and Scott Courson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mud Creek Cemetery.
