Bobby Don Dasher – 73
Of Nashville, GA passed away early Tuesday morning, March 1, 2016, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, GA. He was born on March 5, 1942 to Johnny Vestus Dasher, Sr. and Alma Lee Griner Dasher. Mr. Dasher served in the United States Navy. After his service, he worked in management with Amoco Oil/BP for over 20 years, and he was the owner/operator for Dasher Hardware. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Dasher Cook. Mr. Dasher was a member of the Disciples of Christ faith and attended First Christian Church in Valdosta, GA.
Survivors include his Wife, Susan Humphrey Dasher of Nashville, GA; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Allen and Renee Dasher of Redding, CA; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Don and Danielle Dasher, Jr. of Brussels, Belgium; Grandchildren, Tiffany Dasher, Richard Dasher, Maggie Mae Dasher, and Jack Dasher; three Great Grandchildren;
Sister, Juanita Kathleen Harrell of Ray City, GA; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Oreta and Carl Staggs of Surprise, AZ; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Vivian and Gene Molisee of Ray City, GA; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Jackie and Dennis Williams of Nashville, GA; Brother and Sister-in-Law, Johnny and Ruth Dasher, Jr. of Nashville, GA; Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law, Tommy and Nora Stephens of Thomaston, GA; Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law, David and Mary Keene of Brooklet, GA; Sister-in-Law, Lynn Humphrey of Thomaston, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, March 5, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Rev. James Guthrie will officiate.
