Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 28, 1941 in West Palm Beach, Fl to the late Jacob E. & Grace Faircloth Goff. Mr. Goff worked as a milk man. Spending time with his family and fishing was his favorite pastimes. He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Goff, Great Granddaughter, Ashton Goff and Sister, Evelyn Daniels.
Survivors Include: Wife of 50 years, Liz Goff; Daughter, Barbara Goff Grimsley; 2 Sons, Lee Goff, Jr., Dan Goff; Daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Goff all of Valdosta, 7 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren expected; 2 Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Mary & George Nickell, Nancy & Emory Futch both of Valdosta and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2009 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Brother Justin Atchison officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
