Bobby Eugene Odum

Bobby Eugene Bob Odum, 66, Of Nashville passed away early Saturday morning July 30, 2011 in the Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born July 14, 1945 in Lanier County, GA to the late Ed and Julia Jones Odum. He was employed at Lakeland Floor Covering for over 20 years before ill health forced his retirement.

Survivrs include: Daughters and Son-in- Law: Pam Odum Gipson Ricky Trowell Nashville, Ga. and Tonya Jason Kelly of Adel, GA. Sons and Daughter-in-Law: Michael Odum Mariela Middleton of Nashville, GA and Brett Odum of Ray City, Ga. Sisters and Brother-in-Law: Mildred Griffin of Augusta, GA and Polly and Thomas Griner of Nashville, Ga. Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Sonny and Betty Odom Nashville Wesley and Georgia Odum of Adel, GA and 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2011 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Empire Cemetery in Lanier County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday July 31, 2011.
