Bobby G. Watson

Bobby G. Watson – 71 Of Lakeland, GA passed away on August 14, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 29, 1948 in Lakeland, GA to the late Corley and Ruby (Hughes) Watson. Bobby was a lifelong Baptist. He enjoyed spending time on the farm, gardening and working on tractors. His favorite pastime was dancing with Bonnie. Along with his parents, he is proceeded in death by his siblings H. W. Watson, Juanita Watson, and Joe Watson.
Survivors include: Wife of 38 years, Bonnie Watson of Lakeland, GA; Daughters: Amanda Paredes (Adrian) of Ray City, GA, Shannon White (Chris Mood) of Lakeland, GA, Shelby Hatch of Navarre, FL; Son-in-law: Barry Hatch of Center Pointe, IA; 6 Grandchildren: Hallie Wallace, Austin Wallace, Savannah Hatch, Bailey Hatch, Russell White, Brooks Mood; Great Grandson: Corbin Littleton and several extended nieces, nephews, and family members.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the Empire Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2019, at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to a local hospice in your area.
