Bobby Lee Weldon, 80, of Lakeland, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at his home.
Born on September 2, 1944, in Brunswick, Georgia, he was the son of the late Harmon Weldon and Florence Dampier Weldon. Bobby dedicated his life to service, retiring from the Valdosta Fire Department after an admirable 43-year career, where he rose to the rank of sergeant. His commitment to protecting others and his community earned him deep respect and admiration.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Bobby was a hardworking man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved the outdoors and could often be found riding his Gator around the family farm. His greatest pride was his family—he cared deeply for his wife and daughters and treasured every moment spent with his grandsons, Colby and Bige Schwab.
