Bonnie Jo Ganas

Bonnie Ganas, age 91, of Naylor, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born on June 17, 1934, in Mansfield Georgia to late parents Barney Pace & Naomi Ruth Singleton Roquemore.

Bonnie loved spending time with her family and loved working in her yard where she had a knack for planting and growing beautiful flowers. She and Louis enjoyed the outdoors and fishing after retirement at their second home on the St. John’s River in Welaka, Florida.

She was employed by the Lanier County Board of Commissioners as the county clerk for over 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Louis C. Ganas and sister; Shirley Ann Roquemore.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Susan Bowling of Naylor, GA; daughter, Patti (Scott) Tomlinson of Leesburg, GA; grandson, Brandon (Carmen) Bowling, of Bremen, Ga.; granddaughter, Amy Bennett, Naylor, GA; grandsons, Mathew (Melanie) Tomlinson, Leesburg, GA, John (Erica) Tomlinson, Buford, GA, Lauren (Grant) Mickle Flowery Branch, GA, Grandsons, Seth & Will Tomlinson, Warner Robins, GA.; Great grandchildren; Lexi Benefield (McKinley), Lakeland, GA., Ansley Bennett, Dayton, TN., Autumn Bennett, Naylor, GA., Cason Bennett, Naylor, GA., Naomi Grace Bowling, Oxford, MS., Eva Marie Bowling, Bremen, GA., Lanie & Mathew Tomlinson, Leesburg, GA., Iris Anne & Louis Tomlinson, Buford, GA., JackHenry & Silas Mickle, Flowery Branch, Ga. Great-granddaughter, Maevree Lane, Naylor, Ga.

Brother, Charles R. (Kathy) Roquemore, Rome, GA. and a host of brothers/sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30,2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeland Methodist Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery.
