Brenda Faye Lane McGee Eason, 82

Of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 28, 2026. She was born on March 14, 1944, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late James Lowell Lane and Lilly Ada (Dickerson) Lane.

Brenda was a woman of strong and unwavering faith who found great comfort and joy in reading her Bible.

Music held a special place in Brenda’s heart. She had a beautiful passion for singing Gospel music and playing the piano, and she also enjoyed writing Gospel songs. Through her music, she expressed her faith and touched the hearts of those around her.

Above all, Brenda treasured her family. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones and created many precious memories that will be lovingly remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Cecil Eason; her great grandson, Tristan Conner Rogers; her son-in-law, John Rozar; her siblings: Jimmy Lane, Myrtle Tompkins, Beth Moore, Jessie Lane, Richard Lane, Wayne Lane and Donnie Lane.

She is survived by her children: Angela Victoria Wyatt (Phill)of Ray City, Georgia, Abigail Rozar of Hahira, Georgia and Marianne Young of Alaska; grandchildren: Justin Rozar (Alana), Christopher Rogers, Randy Scoggins, Jr. (Chelsea), Shaina Palmer and Will Young; great grandchildren: Andrew Rogers, Carly Rogers, John Asher Rozar, Tristan Young and Riley Young; her siblings: Sue McLean (Ed), Lisa Mead (Bob), Joe Lane (Ellie) and Leslie Lane; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
