Brett R. Sirmans

Brett R. Sirmans – 37 of Mud Creek, GA went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at his residence after a short illness surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on March 27, 1982 in Valdosta, GA to Randy & Cathy Sirmans. Brett graduated in 2000 from Lanier County High School. His love and smile were infectious. Brett was humble, compassionate and loved everyone he met. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, the Atlanta Braves and witnessing to others about the goodness of the Lord. Recently he was honored to be named a Fireman with the Lanier County Fire and Rescue and the Mud Creek Fire station is now known as “Brett R. Sirmans/Mud Creek Fire Station”. He was truly a servant to his church and community. Brett was a faithful member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Mud Creek. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Harry & Mable Sirmans; maternal grandparents: Tom & Leatha Jones & Clifford English; niece: Adyson Sirmans.
Survivors Include: Parents: Randy & Cathy Sirmans, Mud Creek; Brother & Sister-in-law: Brian & Crystal Sirmans, Mud Creek; 3 Nieces & Nephews: Joshua, Caleb & Ava Sirmans, Mud Creek; Maternal Grandparents: Mary English, Lakeland; Special Uncles & Aunts: Bill Sirmans, Mud Creek, Ricky Sirmans, Mud Creek, Robin Sirmans, Mud Creek, Tim & Rosemary Sirmans, Mud Creek, Pat Bowen, Mud Creek, Trish Jones, Leary, GA, Milly Ellis, Atlanta, GA; Great Uncle & Great Aunt: Dilmus & Latrelle Richardson, Mud Creek and a number of cousins and all of his Mud Creek Family.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the Christian Fellowship Church in Mud Creek, 1617 East Highway 64, Lakeland, GA with burial following in Fender Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
