Bruce Edwin Kibler – 72
Of Valdosta passed away at his residence in Lake Park, GA, on September 15, 2021. He was born on October 27, 1948 in Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Wilson and Judy Patthey Kibler. He died of congestive heart failure which he had for several years. Prior to moving to Lake Park in June 2019, he owned, resided in, and then managed a five star rental property called Journey's End in Highlands, NC. For many years he worked as a senior project manager and construction manager, most recently for Parsons Corporation as a consultant to the US Army Corps of Engineers on a $750 million Military Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He built or remodeled every home he ever lived in plus two boats, including a hydroplane when he was 14. He collected single malt scotch, Morgan silver dollars, railroad models, blacksmithing tools, and possessed a set of original pen and ink drawings of African animal by Georgia artist Barry Nehr. He was kind, tender-hearted, and known for his friendliness to all.
He is survived by his brother, Joel W. Kibler, of Portland, OR. He is buried in Lakeview, MI.
