Bullock Robert Gaskins – 82
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 6, 1938 in Lakeland, Georgia to Bullock Gordon Gaskins and Rosie Lee (Brack) McCullers. He retired as a civil service technician at Moody Air Force Base. He was an avid freshwater fisherman and loved being a greeter at Southside Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, William Brack Gaskins, Grandchildren: Kelly White, Meghan Gaskins, and Mary Gaskins.
Survivors include: Wife of over 60 years, Joy Gaskins of Lakeland, GA; Daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Denise Richards (Geoff) of Douglasville, GA; Son and daughter-in-law, Bullock Robert Gaskins Jr. (Lynn) of Blackshear, GA; Daughter, Sheryl Lynn Gaskins of Lakeland, GA; Daughter, Rebecca Ann Gaskins of Lakeland, GA; Grandchildren: Adam Richards (Anne), Daniel Richards (Stephanie), Sarah Richards (Todd), Matthew Richards, Trey Gaskins (Heather); Great Grandchildren: Chloe Gaskins, Kylie Gaskins, Brantlee Gaskins, Raylan Gaskins, Finlee Gaskins, Sam Richards, Ian Richards, and Isla Richards; Sister, Oneida Higgins of DeLand, Fl; 2 brothers: Carol McCullers (Pat) of Defuniak Springs, Fl, James McCullers of Florida. Brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Kathy Sammons of Ray City, Georgia.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Southside Baptist Church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
