Caitlin Virginia Swinson

Caitlin Virginia Swinson, age 25, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was born on July 25, 2000, in Valdosta, GA to her loving mother, Heather Renee Swinson Barrett.

She found great joy in drawing, painting and expressing her creativity through art. She enjoyed watching horror movies, listening to music, and savoring her favorite sushi. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, whose love brought her the greatest happiness.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Stan Swinson and great grandparents, Raymond and Pearl Swinson.

Caitlin is survived by her parents, Heather and Joshua Barrett of Valdosta; sister, Elizabeth Barrett of Valdosta and brothers Tyler Barrett and Landon Barrett of Valdosta; maternal grandparents Lisa and Robert Mead of Valdosta; uncle Eric Swinson and aunt Kayla Swinson of Valdosta and several cousins.
