Of Lake Park passed away Thursday July 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 10, 2000 in Panama City, Florida to Toya Blanton Mefford. He graduated from Lowndes County High School in 2018. During High School, Caleb was a member of the LHS Off Broadway Drama Department. Caleb had aspirations of becoming a Mental Health Technician so that he could help other kids that were also battling depression. He worked for several years at the Lake Park McDonalds where many remember his big beautiful smile. Most recently he was employed by The Flying J at exit 2. Caleb loved his family, was a proud Uncle and enjoyed playing video games.
Survivors include; Mother, Toya Blanton Mefford and Step Father Joseph Mefford of Lake Park, GA; Brother, Cody J Grantham (Rosalyn) of Mary Esther FL; Grandmother, Deborah P Blanton of Lake Park, GA; Uncle, Glen Blanton (Debbie) of Alexandria VA; Uncle, Cam Blanton (Kate) of Orange City FL; Aunt, Angela Heynes (Brian) of St Joe Beach, FL; Brother, Ricky Kunz (Amanda) of Ohio; Brother, Adam Kunz (Amanda) of Ohio; Sister, Julianne Kunz of Florida; Sister, Destiny Kunz of Georgia. Caleb has many surviving Great Aunts, Great Uncles, Cousins and Nieces that love him dearly.

As per his wishes, Caleb will be cremated and no formal services will be held. There will be a memorial in Caleb's honor at Lowndes High School on Monday, August 12th at 5 pm. hosted by the LHS Off Broadway Drama Department. The compassionate and caring staff of Music Funeral Services is serving the family of Caleb Blanton.
