She was born to the late Joseph and Anne Patane Castorina on April 10, 1949, in Manhattan, New York. Camille had a passion for vintage movies, loved traveling through Europe, and found great joy in teaching.

Survivors include her son, Clark Gargan (Briana Jacobs) of Valdosta, Georgia; grandson, Ander Jacobs of Valdosta, Georgia; brother, Sebastian Castorina of Beverly Hills, Florida; sister-in-law, Susan Castorina of Lecanto, Florida; niece, Susan Castorina of Washington, D.C.; nephews: John Castorina of Lecanto, Florida and Andrew Castorina of Lecanto, Florida.
