Camma Allen Sparks, Jr – 72

Of Valdosta passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at PruittHealth – Lakehaven in Valdosta. He was born in Laurel Hill, NC to the late Camma Allen, Sr. and Elva Mae Sparks. He was a truck driver and was employed by Reames and Son Construction for over 35 years and earned several safe driver awards during that time. He enjoyed fishing, old cars, scratch off tickets and was never seen without one. He had a tremendous love for his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Bertha Langley, Hazel Dozier, Sally Chavis, Margaret Sparks and Grandson Brantley Staggs.
Survivors include: Partner Diana Lewis Valdosta, GA Son Keith Sparks Valdosta, GA Daughter Jennifer Sparks Valdosta, GA Grandchildren Dalton (Michaela) Sparks Valdosta, GA, Madison Sparks Valdosta, GA Chase Shaw, Valdosta, GA Great Grandson Bryce Sparks, Sister Betty Peele, N.C., Mae (Jerry) Jernigan, N.C., and numerous nieces and nephews
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
