Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Lake Haven Nursing Home. Cammy was born on July 8, 1968, to Charles Stone and Betty Marie Noles Burgess in Adel, Georgia. Cammy is preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents: Henry and Wilma Noles, and John and Jessie Northey. Cammy had a lifelong love of reading, finding comfort, adventure, and inspiration within the pages of her favorite books. Her greatest joy, however, came from the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-nieces. She cherished every shared smile, story, and hug, always making each child feel seen, heard, and deeply loved. Cammy’s gentle spirit, boundless affection, and unwavering devotion to her family left an indelible mark on their hearts—a legacy of love and warmth that will be carried on for generations to come.
Survivors include; her daughter and son-in-law, Shanna Davis (Charles) of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Tommy Mulligan of Hahira, Georgia; father, Charles Stone (Michelle) of Ocala, Florida; mother, Betty Burgess of Valdosta, Georgia grandchildren; Shaela Bishop, Trenton Bishop, Preston Davis, and Braylon Davis; nieces and nephews: Alyssa Paulo (Eric) of Valdosta, Georgia, Gage Carroll (Charlly Young) of Valdosta, Georgia, Tatum Carroll of Valdosta, Georgia; great nieces, Paisley Paulo of Valdosta, Georgia and Peyton Paulo of Valdosta, Georgia; life long friend, Patti Phillips of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Kevin Stone of Ocala, Florida; sister, Cindy Hammond of Valdosta, Georgia; long term friend and caregiver, Gwendolyn Grant of Valdosta, Georgia; number of extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
