Carlos David Creel

Carlos David Creel – 78 of Valdosta passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at “The Haven” in Lake City, FL. He was born on March 27, 1940 in Tifton, GA to the late David W. Creel and Mattie Lou Clements Creel. Mr. Creel was a retired minister, retired insurance salesman for American General. He also worked for Tele Prompter TV and was a truck driver for Griffin Trucking. Mr. Creel was a veteran of the United States Air Force after serving four years. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a grandson, Blake Creel.
He is survived by wife, Nancy Alice Creel, Valdosta, GA; Three sons: Tracy Creel, of Tallahassee, FL; Clint Creel of Tallahassee, FL; and Clay Creel of Valdosta, GA; One step daughter, Theresa Depies of Belleair, FL; Step Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Mark and Kris Peters of Watertown, WI; Randy and Tracie Peters of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Traci Creel, Lindsey Creel, Brady (Katlin) Creel, Jordan (Styles) Cook, Cory (Jessica) Peters, Kay Lee (Mike) Parham, Heather Peters, Anna (Aaron) Swope, Amanda (Drew) Daniels, Amber Ferrell, Andrew Ferrell & Justina Or; Great Grandchildren: Olivia Parham, Layla Peters, Ivan Peters, Gabriel Daniels; Three sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Alan Parrott of Valdosta, GA; Connie and Larry Noffer of Hahira, GA; Shara and Paul Webb of Jacksonville, FL; Four sister-in-law’s and brother-in-law’s, Ann and Ronny Parker of Hahira, GA; Linda and Tom Facile of Cecil, GA; BJ and Michael McAllister of Atlanta, GA; Quinton and Reese DeLoach of Greenback, TN and Phil DeLoach of Brooklyn, NY.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 3:00P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery in Morven GA. The family will receive friends Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
