Carolyn Joette Allen

Of Lake Park, Georgia died Friday, January 16, 2009 at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born April 31, 1936 in Adel, Georgia to the late Leory and Verdi B. Connell Griner. She lived most of her life in Lakeland, Georgia. She worked more than 40 years in Civil Service at Moody AFB as a Personal Management Specialist, serving also in Spain, Turkey and Japan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lakeland, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her daughter Kim Allen.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 Sunday, January 25, 2009 in the First Baptist Church of Lakeland with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
