Of Hahira passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012, at her residence. She was born on July 6, 1945 in Hahira to the late Lee & Lessie Leila Fillyaw Harnage. She loved gospel music and singing where for many years she sang with "The McGee Family" gospel singing group. She was a member of the Friendship Seventh Day Sabbath Church of God. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Morris McGee and a brother, Jack Harnage.
She is survived by her, Husband of 52 years, Glenn McGee, Hahira, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, John & Inez McGee, Hahira, GA; Grandchildren: Jennifer Marchessault Denny, Brianna Backensto and Olivia McGee; Great Grandchildren: Autumn & Austin Marchessault; Sisters & Brother-in-law Emilee McDonald, Jacksonville, FL, Myrtis & Lloyd Butts, Chattanooga, TN; A number of Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2012, at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the funeral home.
