Carolyn Mae Williams, 85, of Morven, Georgia passed away Thursday afternoon, September 1, 2022 at her residence after a brief illness. Mrs. Williams was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Johnny Mae (Austin) and Claud D. Eller on October 6, 1936. She made her career as a caregiver, sitting with the elderly. This is just one of the many ways she showed her love for people. As a homemaker she enjoyed working in her yard and with her flowers, and loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends over a good meal. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Jimmy Kearse; daughter, Sue Williams; and son, Danny Kearse.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving family, including two daughters: Judy (Billy Wayne) Smith, of Morven, Georgia; and Lynn (James) Brown, of Coy, Alabama; 10 grandchildren: B.J. (Jamie) Smith of Morven, Georgia; Bryan (Paula) Smith of Morven, Georgia; Micah Hunnewell of Morven, Georgia; Jennifer Smith of Valdosta, Georgia; Christy (Leroy) Gooden of Glen St. Mary’s, Florida; Ashley Hunnewell of Louisiana; and Randy Williams, of Foley, Alabama; James Williams of Atmore, Alabama; Daniel Williams of Morven, Georgia; 12 great grandchildren: Dylan Williams, Shay Hernandez, Shelly Hernandez, Robert Lopez, Austin Lopez, Christian Hunnewell, Kearselyn Smith, Brayden Smith, Damyon Worell, Jasmine Rivera, Dustin Rivera, Chance Hunnewell, and Isabella Hunnewell; one great-great grandchild, Malaia Hernandez, and a number of extended family members and friends.
