Carroll E. Dyal, 65, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Langdale Hospice House following a lengthy illness.
Born to the late Willis and Emma Lee (Carter) Dyal, Carroll was a hardworking man who dedicated many years of service to Standard Contractors. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and appreciation for the simple joys in life.
Carroll found his greatest enjoyment outdoors, where he loved hunting and fishing. Whether spending time in the woods or on the water, he cherished the peace of nature and the memories made with family and friends. He will be remembered for his devotion to those he loved and for the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Carroll was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Latrelle Dyal; his son, Nathan Evans; his sisters, Linda Terrell and Ernestine Easters; and his brothers, James Dyal and Floyd Dyal.
Carroll's memory will be treasured by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Survivors Include: 3 sons: Shawn Dyal, Valdosta, GA, Willard “Brent” Atteberry (Missy), Valdosta, GA, Keith Atteberry (Donna), Oregon; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Margaret Courson, Lake Park, GA, Katheline Roberts, Valdosta, GA, June Adams, Clyattville, GA; 3 brothers: Wayne Dyal (Mary Jane), Valdosta, Ga, Ricky Dyal, Valdosta, Ga, Jimmy Dyal (Lisa), Valdosta, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2026 in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com. The Dyal family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
