Casandra (Sandy) Ellis Lowery, born on September 20, 1955, lived a beautiful life and went home to be with God on July 7, 2021 in Valdosta, GA, surrounded by her immediate family. Sandy was the wife of Ronald H. Lowery and the daughter of Claudette Peck Fender and the late David Varnedoe Fender, Sr. She was a beautiful, loving, and caring wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, and was an incredibly gifted crafter who decorated her home with works of love. She also enjoyed puzzles, books, and photo albums, and always loved children.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, David Varnedoe Fender, Sr. and her older brother, David Varnedoe Fender, Jr.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her loving husband, Ronald H. Lowery of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Casandra E. Randolph (husband Matthew) of Bronx, New York, son, Richard H. Lowery (wife Michelle) of Waxhaw, North Carolina; sister, Sally Eye of Valdosta, Georgia; brothers, Hank Fender of Lake Park, Georgia, Pete Fender, Lake Park, Georgia; grandchildren, Ryan Hunter Lowery, Brendan Trace Lowery, Kaitlyn Joi Lowery, Asher Emerson Randolph, Karsten Alexander Randolph and numerous nieces and nephews.
