Charlene Johnson

Charlene Wayne Johnson, 77, of Adel, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 23, 1944, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Sallie Bellflower Wayne and Edward John Wayne. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to shop, travel, read, cook and she loved her cats. Along with her parents Mrs. Charlene is preceded in death by, her husband Wesley Carlie Johnson and brother, Ronnie Wayne
Her survivors include, son and daughter in-law: David Sears (Leigh) of Adel, Georgia, daughter and son in-law: Lisa Saul Short (Ricky) of Alapaha, Georgia; 5 Grandchildren: Parker Nix (Allie), Brandon Short (Jade), Wesley Saul (Jessica), Carley Saul (Zachary Lloyd), and Jamie Sears; 4 great grandchildren: Claire Nix, Hayden Short, Logan Bennett, Rhett Short and several nieces, nephews, and Cousins also survive
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Burnt Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends following the service.
