Charles “Tim” Benefield- 41


Of Lakeland, went to his eternal home to be with Jesus Thursday September 15, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Tim was born August 23, 1964 in Lois Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland, Georgia to Ruth & the late Elijah Benefield. He was a graduate of Lanier County High School. He lived all of his life in Lanier County and was a master trim carpenter by way of Vocation, and a fisherman by choice. Tim was a born again Christian, and was an active member of the Lakeland Church of God.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, September 18, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. in the Lakeland Church of God. His body will be laid to rest in Fender cemetery.
