Charles Leon Bennett, 77, a beloved resident of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his adoring family. Born on September 12, 1946, in Lenox, Georgia, to the late Herman and Myrtle Blizzard Bennett, Charles was a cherished member of his community.
Charles had a lifelong passion for selling cars, earning him the endearing nickname of "workaholic" among his colleagues and friends. Outside of his professional life, he found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly his love for fishing and tending to his garden. He possessed a talent for preparing homecooked meals.
Above all else, Charles held a deep and abiding love for his children and grandchildren, finding immense happiness in their presence and accomplishments.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his former wife and the mother of his children, Barbara Ann Bennett, as well as his sister, Patricia Miles, and brothers, Ronnie and Raymond Bennett.
Though he has departed from this world, Charles leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and devotion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Greg and Janet Bennett of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter and son in-law, Donna and Craig Wisenbaker of Valdosta, Georgia; son and daughter in-law, Terry and Jade Bennett of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Jimmy Bennett of Lake Park, Georgia; grandchildren, Megan Moirano(Massimo), CeGee Bennett, Shelby Bennett, Christian Wisenbaker, Heather Wisenbaker Lawlor, Tristan Bennett, Jadon Evans, Corbin Evans, Cason Evans, Carter Bennett; great grandchildren, Olivia Lawlor, Hayley Padgett, Hayden Peavy, Natrielle Johnson, Grayson Perez, Adrian Perez, Estelle Moirano; partner, Diana Boggan of Valdosta, GA; sister in-law, Janice Bennett of Tifton, GA; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
