Of Ray City passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 in South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born March 17, 1955 in Brunswick, GA to Charles Edgar Croft and Jacqueline Walker. Mr. Croft served in the United States Army. He loved his family and he loved his country. He is preceded in death by a brother, William B. Croft
Mr. Croft is survived by his, Wife, Betty Ann Taylor, Ray City, GA; Step Children, Croshay Taylor, Valdosta, GA, Truett Taylor, Navarre, FL; Step Grandchildren, Trinity Taylor and Kendall Taylor; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Karan C. & Randy Dykes, Valdosta, GA, Julie Ann & Phil Dennis, Eastman, GA; Step Father, James P. Tabor, Moultrie, GA; Niece and Nephews, Jason R. Dykes, Jared R. Dykes, Miranda Merritt, Matthew T. Croft
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Military Honors will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
