Charles Robert Golden

C. R. "Rob" Golden of Lakeland, GA, passed away September 25, 2009 in Augusta, GA following a brief illness. He was born August 24, 1935 in Bartow, FL to the late Ivor Leo Golden and Ebbar Estelle Bellflower Golden. Rob owned and operated Golden Brothers Auto Sales as well as real estate and rental property. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one son, Curt Golden of Washington, D.C. ; 4 Brothers and Sisters in law, Ed Golden, Earl & Yvonne Golden, Melvin R. Golden and Inez Hersey, and Jimmy & Annette Golden, all of Lakeland, GA; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Erma G. King.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Lakeland, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, September 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
