 Of Lake Park Ga passed away Monday July 28, 2014, in South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1944 to the late Emmett L Griffin and Lillian Stewart Griffin. He worked for 27 years before retirement from the Georgia State Patrol. He was a Member of the Azalea Lodge #716 and was currently serving as secretary and had served as past master. He was also a member of the York Rite Bodies and past commander of Malta Commandery No. 16. He loved to go bowling and play golf in his free time. Mr. Griffin was the Vice President of the GA State USBCA and he was currently serving as a director of the SGUSBCA and had served as Past President. He was an active member of the Francis Lake Baptist Church of Lake Park.

 Funeral services will be held Thursday July 31, 2014 at 10:00A.M in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services with masonic rites burial will follow at 2:00P.M in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville, Ga. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 5:00P.M to 7:00P.M at the funeral home.
