Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee FL. He was born on August 02, 1934 in Fitzgerald GA to Quincy and Vera Rouse Luke. He worked in Civil Service at Moody's Print Shop for a number of years. He also served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. He was a member of Fellowship Lodge 746, Moody Lodge 719, and a Past Master of the 11th district of Georgia. He earned his 33rd degree, Scottish-Rite, York-Rite, Shrine and was a member of The Sons of Confederate Soldiers and a reenactor with Company C 61st GA Along with his parents; he was preceded in death by his brother, Doyle Luke.
His survivors include Wife, Vicky Folsom Luke of Valdosta, GA;
Stepson, Keith and Jennifer Folsom of Valdosta, GA
Granddaughters Paige and Lacey Folsom of Valdosta, GA
Two sisters and a Brother of Fitzgerald and Albany, GA
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Welcome Hill Cemetery in Brooks County GA.
