Charles L. Mizell – 71

Of Lakeland passed away early Saturday Morning, June 5, 2004 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland following a short battle with cancer. Born in Charlton County, Georgia he had lived in Lakeland most of his life. He was a firefighter with Civil Service at Moody Air Force Base for approximately 21 years, a Mason and was a member of Lakeland Lodge # 434, was a Veteran having served in the U. S. Air Force, and was a Baptist by faith.

Daughter and Son-in-Law Sharon and Paul Taylor Lakeland, Georgia

2 Sons Charles E. Mizell Lakeland, Georgia

Bobby Mizell Lakeland, Georgia

9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 7, 2004 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 6, 2004 with the family receiving friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
